||The fulfillment of a dream and a promise
This site is dedicated to the memory of Grampa Harry Freedman.
Grampa's farm, better known as Harry's Farm, was a magical place on the Delaware River in the tiny no-longer-existent place of Pahaquarry, New Jersey. It was taken by the government in an ill-fated ill-conceived venture known as the TOCK'S ISLAND DAM PROJECT... a dam that was never constructed. The peaceful retreat became a squatter's commune which was then destroyed by the Army Corp of Engineers, forever vanquishing the "River People", and irrevocably destroying the historic buildings.
For almost 30 years Harry's grandson, Dr. Joseph Cohn, has attempted to restore the farm to it's purpose established by Grampa Harry: a retreat to the peace of the country.
